Will this brake upgrade fit my American Racing Torqe Trust rims?

http://dagostinoracing.com/index.php?main_page=pro...

It seems like a nice upgrade but not sure it will fit my rims.
So I asked 'd agostino about this they replied:

"Since you are retaining the stock brake caliper you should not have a problem, the wheel clearance is an issue when upgrading to a larger diameter brake caliper. Hope that helps."

Now if I'm not mistaken the std size brake is an 12.4 inch so upgrading to a larger diameter disk would mean relocating brake caliper's.
I guess the included bracket in the pic does right that.
So does that mean there are no issues with this upgrade...not sure any thoughts on this??

Oops just as I'm posting this I see mad there is a template you can down load from Bear to see if it will clear your wheels.

Anyway any thoughts on this brake upgrade thing?

I know for sure big brake kits dont fit!

If you can't fit the big brake kits what about this from Baer;

http://www.baer.com/products/complete/gt.php

Atlantic Sports Cars (Luton, UK) can get them in and I know a few people have gone for them when the big brake kits don't fit.

I read an article in a Mustang mag about how many people simply don't need the brakes they fit, they just look good.

The first thing I would do is buy a decent set of pads - something like Hawk performance pads. These make a huge difference. If they are adequate for your needs, then what point is there is shelling out lots of wonga for bigger brakes. Mine still uses the stock brakes to be honest and whilst I have the Hawk performance pads, I haven't felt compelled to fit them because the stock ones do alright for the fast driving I do.

As you have found, most brake manufacturers offer a template to try inside your wheels but bear in mind the curvature of the wheels spokes. Mine curve in which precudes fitting a bigger disc.

The beauty of the aftermarket kits is that they don't fade so much and will take far more abuse but when i was looking at brake kits, I noted that several big brake kits actually had a slightly longer stopping distance than the stockers - which could be attributable to any number of variables of course.

The one thing I would love to get rid off is the spongy feeling of the brakes.
It’s so far the only thing that bothers me a bit about the car.
I believe the Goodridge brake lines should fix this problem.

The hawks HSP are supposed to be really good so I’m going to give them a try. (Sell me yours Lucifer!).

The rotor replacement would be more of an esthetic issue.

I’m hoping to receive my suspension upgrade parts soon after that I’ll move on to the brakesmile
