Going to Goodwood next weekend and thought i would watch gone in 60 seconds to get me in the mood and see what cars i am hopefully going to see.

Obvioulsy the favourite is the shelby,

Just wondered if anyone knew more about this car - was it in production - how many were made?

Can you still get them today, i have searched and can only find replicas, im thinking they would be quite expensive?

Just to whet your appetites.....

The film car differs a little from the production GT500

For me though, I prefer the moder understated looks for a standard '68 fastback

Don't forget, the original Eleanor was a '73 Mach1

I'm certainly looking forward to next Sunday smile

Yep, the film-remake car is a kit. rolleyes Admittedly, the kit was Foose designed.

The original, as TT has said, was a glorious '73 Mach 1 - just like mine!! biggrin

Classic recreations are the people you need to speak to.

You'll need a fat wallet.
Or you might like to buy the real thing. Whereby you're wallet gets depleated by the same amount, and you eventually make money on it when you sell it.

Yeah, and after Eleanor and Frank Bullitt's car, Shellz' '73 (Daisy) has probably had more screen time than any other Mustang biggrin

(see any episode of Saxondale) hehe

I missed this earlier! Just came to borrow the link to the Eleanor pic and saw this. You've got a point there Paul. There's a long list of appearances here but I think if I start going through them all with a stopwatch in hand I'll find myself without a boyfriend! biggrin

THE BEST MUSTANG EVER BUILT WAS THE 1967 SHELBY gt500 AND THE WAS ONLY 250 CARS MADE AS THEY WERE A SPECIAL EDITION CAR.

THATS ALL I NO IF THAT HELPS YOU IN ANYWAY THEN I AM GLAD I COULD HELP YOU
