The Dominator looks great James.

Those back lights though... I can't stand 'em!

I know everyone appears to be putting them on UK Mustangs for lighting compliancy. But I prefer the original all red 3-bar element lights of the standard car. Even if I have to have the extra reverse/fog lights on the bottom of the bumper!!!

If I buy another Mustang from you later on (ahem! 302ci, 400 bhp, 3-valve), can I have the same rear lights as my current GT?

Cheers

Hi there

Hope I don't get flamed for saying this but its my oppinion and that is that I think that these Dominator Mustangs are verging onto been a little chavvy, far too many stick on plastic parts and mesh grills for my liking. I suppose if that is what you want then cool but I preferre a more factory look or subtle modifications or ones that are of actual use like braking ducts etc. etc.

Your are welcome to your opinions. That is the great thing about mustangs there are so many different kits and so many different looks to match all tastes. Body kits are like wheels no two people will like the same. Some like bling some like subtle, some like aggressive.

Mmm! New Camaro... something I would be very interested in too...

Let's hope it's close to the concept! (the deciding factor!)

with out a doubt we will be doing the 2009 Chevrolet Camaro and the 2008 Dodge Challenger lets hope they are both close to concept and they get on with the Challenger I haven't heard anything for a while so early next year will be release I think. I will be ordering a bright orange challenger welding the doors shut and putting on my tightest pair of wranglers and jumping in through the windows dukes of hazzard style!(I know the original was a charger)

Hey! I've got first dibs on the Camaro! I put my request in when I bought the Mustang.
LS7 in a black hardtop please (with a 'charger).

Having said that, the Mustang is the first car I've ever had where there is nothing on the current market that I would want to replace it with, at any price ( maybe a Koenissegg/Kowensigg/Konnisigg/Zonda)!

It's OK, mine will be orange with black stripes.

Well, we've got to wait to see if it goes as well as it looks. I could be a right dogs dinner in that regard (unlikely - and criminal if it were, but you never know! smile )

Is it possible I saw this car at the BP petrol station in Harpenden last weekend?

It was black and had the same silver stripes and I think it had the same wheels but I cannot be sure.

I was filling up my 'ro a couple of pumps across. It made my car seem very subtle indeed! biggrin

Cool, I might have to pop in and have a drool smile

PS. I think my challenger will have to be white - Vanishing Point style.

Zektor - if you're serious about upgrading soon, I'm still VERY serious about first refusal for your car. I have a new e-mail address now (so new, I can't remember what it is!!) but contact me through here if you're interested smile

As for the Dominator? It's an amazing car, but a little OTT for me. New Camaro though, lick

There is reputedly a new 5.0 engine called Hurricane which is supposed to produce 350bhp as stock.

The Hurricane originally began life as a 6.2 from what I can gather and was canned due to development costs. However, the success of the SRT-8 caused them to revive the project but the current rumour seems to suggest they're going for a 5.0
http://www.motortrend.com/features/auto_news/2006/...
The thing is Ford cancel models and run out of money so often though that it's hard to keep tabs on what is still on the cards. Last I read it was going to be in the restyled Mustang with a possible advance appearance in the current Mustang to keep the buyers interested when the Camaro hits the shelves. It make sense as GM have the choice of a 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 and 7.0 for the Camaro and whilst Ford are working on a King Snake Cobra pumping something like 750bhp, it's very expensive and still uses the GT500 iron lump. For Ford, historically, the 5.0 badge has always been a big seller and lesser power and capacity has never stopped the Mustang outselling the GM cars before.
