Thought I would post this and invite you to this event. Hopefully it will become a annual event for all Fast Fords. Inspiration has come from the National Lightning Owners Club and National Harley Truck Owners Club events in the US where a full itinery of events such as dyno/drag and social all meet over one weekend. You can attend one of them or all of them, thats the beauty.
I will be there for pleasure on the Saturday to try and break into the 12's in the Saleen and Sunday I am there to work..frown but will still have a top time

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The UK Thunder & Lightning meeting is only a few weeks away at Santa Pod

There will be trophies for the fastest trucks and cars kindly donated by Adrenaline Race & Performance and also Show & Shine trophies donated by Evolution Valet.
We will also be giving door prizes on the Saturday night at the party which have been donated by the NLOC/NHTOC club and hopefully a few more surprise giveaways.

The final format for the event will be

Friday Afternoon - Meet & Greet at the Adrenaline Race workshop from 3pm onwards

Friday Evening - Meal at Buddies Diner.

Saturday all day - RWYB at Santa Pod Raceway

Saturday night - party at Adrenaline after the RWYB

Sunday am - Back to Santa Pod for Fast Fest. The detailing class by Evolution Valet will take place on the club stand. This will be your chance to learn the professional techniques needed to keep your vehicle looking good as well as the opportunity to buy Mothers Products at a discounted rate.

Sunday pm - Show & Shine

We have also been invited to take part in the demo runs on Sunday during the main Fast Fest show. There will be national magazine coverage of the event so there's a chance that your vehicle could appear in print.

Details of the entire event inc. hotel information can be found here http://www.uksvtmeet.proboards62.com/

Details Fast Fest, the Ultimate Petrol Head event can be found here http://www.fastfest.com/

I look forwards to seeing (and racing you) in a few weeks

Regards
Adam @ Rebel-V8.com

The Uk Thunder & Lightning SVT Meeting is open to all Ford Lightnings, Harley Davidson models and SVT Mustangs

Entrance fee to attend the weekend will be £10 per person.
This DOES NOT cover the cost of the Dyno, RWYB, Meal at Buddies Diner or Hotels. That part is up to you.

Please take the time to visit the websites of our sponsors. Without their help, this event would not be possible.

Hi mate - back home now (just).

Will deffo be there, but dunno whether it will be Sat/Sun or both. Probably Sunday so I an see you in action hehe

Be interesting to see how much you're offering the Mothers stuff for, just came back with a suitcase full of it and Meguiars with a load of detailing paraphenalia! Not to mention a low-jack, trunk organiser and a shed load of other stuff smile

Quite fancy a run up the strip too, but as I said, it's dependent on getting dyno time before to check my new tune A/F ratios are safe.

Cheers dude

Ok, its this weekend.

Hopefully the weather will have sorted itself out by then.
On the Sunday, we are doing some detailing demos and envisage showing how to clay bar plus how to machine polish using a Porter Cable. There will be three of us there to do the demo's. Also afterwards, we are holding a show and shine with trophies for Best Truck and runner up and Best Car and runner up.Any cars are allowed to enter.
The demos will be at Santa Pod and our stand is part of the Rebel-V8 club stand alongside the Candy Run team.

Please drop by and say hi.
