Hi Guys,
Thought I'd ask here as I have an MG ZTT with the 4.6 Mustang lump and a supercharger and the belt went last night. I've tried local auto factors and various companies that do Gates belts with no luck.

Anyone got any ideas of where else to try? I'm in Bristol so anywhere nearish would be good.

are you talking about the normal poly V belt that drive the alternator etc or the blower belt?
assuming your blower is sat on the top and has a separate belt.

US Automotive in Bedford should be able to help..

cant remember the phone number, but it should be easy to google their site..

they post first class, so it should be with you in less than 24 hours..

tell them Phil Harrison put you onto them..

Cheers guys. One turned up from the tuner in Scotland on Saturday, it was the last one they had.

US automotive couldn't help, and neither could anyone else I found as it's a very long belt that drives all the ancillaries including the supercharger.

May be a bit late - but a good source for belts and many other mustang parts in the States is Summit Racing - http://www.summitracing.com/ - they post to UK and are very helpfull, informative and good on prices.

BTW - I find Goodyear Gatorback belts much more reliable and run quieter too!!!

Cheers.

Yea, the belt needs to be the one for specific charger - look at the number printed on your belt.
