Hi, Does any one know of where I can pick up a set of folding mirrors for a 2005-2007 Mustang. Does any one make such a mirror ? I have done usual google, yahoo etc searches to no avail. As you all know the new mustang has fixed mirrors.

Hi James

Not folding mirrors by the look of it, but they are a sleeker design so may not stick out quite so much.

They look nice too.

None available commercially as far as I'm aware although export Mustangs to Japan have to have folding mirrors so if they still export the S197 to Japan, that's the place to find them.

Thanks for your help chaps. Customer had no choice but to buy a corvette as it is significantly narrower 73.6 at widest point compared to 80" for the mustang. Still open to suggestions if you come up with a folding mirror solution.

Really? My Z06 would just go into my garage and I usually tipped a mirror in. My Mustang goes in with similar room to spare without folding the mirrors. Have you measured it as that really surprises me.

Yes we actually physically measured and as the customer was local took it round to his house just be absolutely sure that we could fit between house and neighbours fence. The corvette c5 is 73.6 inches at widest point and the mustang as mirrors don't fold in widest point is 80 inches. I thought the vette was wider also but no.

It must be because the Mustang is squarer and the Corvette is more curved. Anyone buting a modern house should buy a Persimmon home as the garages are much bigger.

Now that's a pistonhead house buying top tip.
