How to ruin a great car
Discussion
To be honest though, I think the biggest you can get away with on the 2005 Mustang is the 20" size. And even some of those look to big (depending on design). I'm in the process of lowering my car with Eibach Sportlines. 1.6" lower at the front and 2" lower at the rear. I've got a set of 20" Shelby Razors on the way, which in my opinion are the only wheels I have seen that I actually like. I've seen lot's of 18" to 20" styles but none of them grabbed my attention and said "do it" to me. Then I saw the Shelby CS6 concept car with the "Razor" wheels on. I thought it looked fantastic. Then I found out that Shelby and American Racing are collaborating to produce the Shelby Legend series, and the new "Shelby" Razor's have "SHELBY" emblazoned on one of the spokes and have the "ready to strike" cobra snake logo on the centre cap.
At the moment, just waiting for a quote for a 14" brake conversion. Slotted/drilled/vented 2-piece rotors with 2 piston "claw" calipers.
Cheers
