2005 Mustang GT final result
Discussion
Well, here it is. 7 months after ordering a set of wheels specifically for the 2005 Mustang and finding out they didn't actually fit, the wheel manufacturers have arse-draggingly finally come up with a set of spacers to allow the fitment of these wheels. Annoyingly, I didn't find out they didn't fit until the boxes had been shredded and I'd waited 3 months for tyres to fit the rims or I might have sent them back (apart from the loss of import duty, VAT and two way shipping).
So the car is supercharged for a 462bhp pony count, has Tokico D-Spec suspension with Roush lowering springs, Metco billet control arms, strut brace and A-arm brace and a lot of shiny bits and pieces.
With the final piece being the wheels and tyres, she looks a little chunkier and lower than before. It was along hard 7 month journey that was unnecessarily fraught with tossers but I like the result.
