2005 Mustang V6 4.0l Performance

Can someone tell me what the performance of this Mustang is? The US magazines never mention performance figures.

Drove one across from New York to New Orleans and then back here to Pensacola last week and it was a wonderful car - and i'm in half a mind to import one to the UK I liked it so much. Of all the cars I've been looking at recently, this one just stands out as being different and interesting.

That very question was asked in this month's Muscle Mustangs & fast fords and the answer was that the official figures were 60 in around 8.5 and 16 seconds over the quarter - about the same as a reasonable hot hatch.

i have just test driven a GT this afternoon - only just got back from it infact - and WHAT a car! ok, i admit i havent been out in many 300bhp cars, but it was just fabulous fun....

Justin - when I bought mine 6 yrs back, I test drove both V6 and V8. Once driven...there was no going back - it had to be the full muscle experience Granted these were US$ prices, but am very pleased I took the decision to go with the V8 - you would not be disappointed.

i'm hopefully spending a bit of time in the US next year and I will be buying a GT whatever happens. everytime i'm a bit homesick - i'll look at the GT on my drive and will cheer up instantly.
