ACI spent last year running their Mustang at drag racing events to develop it.. it's a bloody nice looking car and rather capable!

I'd seriously consider the ACI car...

It does sound like they can do anything to them, your right there car does look awesome but iv seen this white roush with an air intake and blue stripes and that seriously looks the buisness.

I think you may but i have spoken to someone from Roush this morning and it sounds good, I have also heard that i may need to pay 27k for a brand new 06 v8 auto before roush have even touched it.

I would like to know what id pay for one if i went to the trouble of importing it myself?

Anyone know?

Cost price plus $820 roll-on-roll-off shipping, $400 marine insurance, 10% import duty then take the total and add 17.5% VAT. Then add SVA work which can be up to £500 and then tax and £38 registration and whatever number plates cost.

Now I've imported a Corvette Z06 in the past and saved a lot of money but my advice here is to look at the oversupply in the used Mustang market on Auto Trader and buy a lightly used one and aim to pay around £20k and go from there. That's what I did. However, bear in mind that if you then want to import parts, your shipping costs will bump things up. Having said that, even with a blower fitted and wheels, brakes, suspension and so forth coming from the US, I'm still a lot less than £30k fitting the parts myself (not the blower which I had professionally fitted).

The Saleens are the best looking Mustangs by a country mile IMHO but you'd be looking at around £33k for a UK-supplied unblown S281. I don't know anything about the ACI but the Roush is obviously a well-developed end product judging by EVO's view of it.

Yer evo did have a good things to say about it. Iv seen a Roush for 30k in autotrader on 2005. I thought that was a good price but not sure what mods have been done to it.

Spoke to roush before and it looks like im looking at 11k for them to give it the once over doing everything themself's, turbo charger and normal mods to make it a beast. Like the idea of getting a 2nd hand sva registered one.
