2016 Mustang Upgrading Sync 2 to version 3.10 - problems

Having problems doing this, put my VIN number into the relevant section on the Ford website, and hurray, an update is available,. Follow instructions, download it, unzip it onto a USB stick. but just - Bad Installation file.. Have tried multiple USB sticks (all over 2Gb, correctly formatted), just not getting anywhere..

Seems silly to have to pay Ford to do this?!

Anyone had similar issues and resolved them? (going from version 3.08 to version 3.10)

For anyone that has done it, is it worth it, does latest version fix anything, add anything useful?

Try formatting the USB ex-fat, then extract the file straight to USB rather than to an intermediate folder.

Start engine, Insert the USB then wait a few minutes, an " updating " sign should appear on the screen.
