Is it just me ,or do we all have slow fillers. ? I always use Shell v power, and after the initial first blast when filling, the trigger cuts out and it's quick bursts from then on . I've tried all different angles and positions of the nozzle ,but it still takes a good 5 minutes to fill . Is there something in the filler neck to stop it filling quick ?or am I doing something wrong?

nope - not you. IIRC pretty much all the S197's suffered from this (and yes it is a ball-ache) and there is no easy fix. That being said some petrol stations are better than others

Thanks irocfan. I was beginning to think I can use a full tank quicker than I can fill it . biggrin

There different ways people have found work but mostly trial and error, when I fill up at my regular Esso 90% of fills are good. I insert the nozzle and turn it almost 180deg so the trigger is approx where 11 is on a clock and i never go full throttle, if you google you will find countless threads on the subject
