I was lucky enough to be one of the first uk customers to order the Mustang Bullit. I was told it was going to be very limited with only 2 Green and 2 Black to each Mustang dealership.
So put my deposit down early June 2018 to be told Mustang would be here September early October.
Despite chasing this I still have not being given a delivery date called in to dealer they also cannot get an update they can only tell me my order is a confirmed one and the car can no longer be ordered dispite that fact it’s on fords uk web site . I have not had a Ford since the Ford Cosworth so was looking for to the Mustang. Am I the only one in the uk getting the run round as really getting fed up with not even getting a date. Very interested in any others waiting oh plus to add insult the price has seemed to of jumped up a grand

Hi.

I didn't order a bullit but a regular GT at the same time as you. Was told six months which came and went. Then told March 2nd 2019. Now being told that the build date is 19th January. So March 2nd unlikely. My gut feeling is that it will be delayed again. I take it anyone outside of the US is low priority and gets bumped. Bloody annoying especially as the dealer here has zero control or influence over what happens state side.

I ordered my Bullitt beginning of August 2018. Delivered mId November 2018. 2 others ordered from my supplying dealer before mine, mine came in first. Go figure?!

Build slot scheduling at Flat Rock is a bit of a lottery. Ford UK has no influence whatsoever.

Patience is a virtue and all good things come to those who wait.

Yes I am sure the wait will be worth it just so annoying we cannot get a firm delivery date. Hopefully this should help the residual value when we come to trade. Oh forgot it will be the wrong colour or spec. Shame Ford uk could not get the information from the USA
I shall keep waiting and if all fails I may have to put a call in to Donald Trump 😱

Got to agree that the progress reporting could do with sorting out, but don't loose faith, mine was ordered a bit earlier, (also with a spec delivery of October, November) I eventually got a build date but that passed and the status wasn't up dated, eventually showed as Off Line and then Shipped in mid December. Heard nothing but was told on Monday that it's showing as Arrived in Liverpool! Which means that it had arrived in Belgium, been undersealed and dispatched without any update at all. Still waiting for it to arrive at the dealer and be processed there, but hopefully I will be driving her away soon.

Cars don’t go to Belgium anymore. They are shipped from Halifax Nova Scotia to Liverpool where they are offloaded and transported to Dealers. Mine followed this path. Yours will, have too. Under sealing only ever light and done at Flat Rock now I assume.

Thanks, I'll let my dealer know, as I said I think communications within Ford need improving. Lol

My girl's arrived, and she's fantastic smile

Anyone struggling to justify the extra money for a facelift, just do it, there's no comparison!

Extra warranty is probably worth it - especially when selling in a few years time.

Not sure about the service packs - possibly little saving - just pay for service at the time when it is needed.

Waiting times are crazy, I ordered my bullitt in June, was the first in Swansea, still haven't got it yet, but somebody else has had theirs already from that garage....

I know it is so annoying having said that I don’t think I would want it in this weather hopefully March but the dealer still cannot confirm. Shocking customer service from Ford you will also note the price increase now we have to pay.

What's the new price? I assumed the quoted price after paying the deposit was the price I'd pay, wrong?

Yes afraid so it’s gone up over a thousand already. Fords answer is you can have your deposit back if you want but the new price stands
