Michelin PS4's for GT?
Discussion
The Mrs had a moment this morning in the wet in her GT, we took the winter tyres off a couple of weeks ago and put the original P Zeros back on but they and not giving her any confidence.
What are peoples experiences of Michelin PS4's on the Mustang?
I think they are probably the best of the bunch having experienced PSS's on my M135 in the past.
I know we could just get Bridgestones instead

- edit* it seems that the rear 275/40/19 PS4's are not available in the UK yet according to our tyre supplier - i'm in contact with Michelin

What winter tyres did you fit? This was my first (and last) winter with Pirelli P Zeros as they were utterly useless. In lightish snow my Mustang was the ONLY car in my street not to negotiate a fairly moderate hill. Never again. I know it's not what you're asking but I've been researching what to fit next winter.
Fitted MPSS on the rear 2016 GT at 3900 miles as there was a cut in the sidewall - I needed no excuse to fit the Michelins (tried and tested in 4 years of Monaro ownership) as I took an instant dislike to the original P-Zeros. I now have a new Flowerpot and a Spare.
Confidence Now Restored - Only a matter of time (probably months) before I ditch the fronts and Fit Some Michelins there too.
Hope This Helps

I’m still running the stty Pirelli’s at the front and a pair of MPSS’ at the rear thanks to a damaged sidewall. I have a spare old Pirelli for when I inevitably puncture one of the new rears and can then let my tyre man have a crack at line lock in return for free fitting of my next set of Michelin’s.
The MPSS completely transform the car especially when it’s warm, they’re not up to much when it’s really cold but anything is better than the Pirelli’s.

Two different tyres have been referred to in this thread.
The PS4 (PS4s) is not the same as the PS4S (PS4Ss).
The Pilot Sport 4 replaces the Pilot Sport 3 and the Pilot Sport 4 S replaces the Pilot Super Sport (MPSS).
Just trying to make sure you don't end up with the wrong tyre!

Thanks Timbuktu, I understand, MPS4S have been recommended on a Mustang forum that my wife is a member and MPSS seem to be in short supply/expensive in the rear sizes
If mixing them with Pirellis on the front and Michelins (of one or other type) on the back without any problems then we may go with that
Reading my original post it isn't clear on the types
