Washed it yesterday to be ready for the Pistonheads Sunday Service and took a few pics to stick on eBay as sadly it had to go due to moving back to London after Christmas.

I did try to sell it in the winter earlier this year but little interest after 6 weeks.

Ad went on eBay at 2.30pm, chap called at 3pm, he arrived at mine at 11.30pm after a 5 hour journey from Chester, money in bank by 11.45pm and I watched it drive away at Midnight.

Still in shock and then I realised this morning that I no longer have a car to take to the Sunday Service.

Went for a great price and at a month shy of 2 years of ownership, it has cost me in depreciation, £182 a month.

This Jan I was looking at 2 new tyres, service, road tax and insurance. Would be at least £1600 all together and would have been a lot more if based in London and with my newly acquired SP30.

So a big bullet avoided but still very sad to see it go. It looked bloody great disappearing down my lane on the beginning of it's 200 mile journey home with it's new very happy owner.

Congrats - was very nice.

Did the depreciation cost include all the aftermarket parts etc?

Ah. I only added a gear knob, about 60 quid and a GT350 style steering wheel at around 200.

I still have the original Ford gear knob as a momento.

Ah right, sorry thought you had a cai, tune and exhaust.

That’s incredibly low depreciation hey.
