Folding Mirrors
Discussion
2015 Mustang Width
Width inc mirrors 2080 mm (81.9 inches, 6' 10")
Width folded mirrors 1956 mm (77.0 inches, 6' 5")
Width Ex Mirrors (i.e. body only) 1916 mm (75.4 inches, 6' 3")
You only save about 2" if you fold the mirrors in.
Due to the Mustang length and the huge hood and your low seating position it is (for me at least) a very difficult car to manoeuvre.
My garage is door opening is 6' 9". On day of purchase I tried my big plan to park in the garage. I folded in the mirrors and got in ok'sh but had great difficulty reversing out straight and without the huge haunches front and rear scraping the door frame. You can see the rear wheel arch in the wing mirrors and from the drivers position you actually have less visibility of the front wheel arch.

Thanks for that. Will fit fine with those measurements.
Havent even bought the car yet but have my mod list sorted:
GT350 Steering wheel and Front Strut Brace
Exhaust (Think Im going Roush)
Eibach springs and anti roll bars
Roush CAI
Front and rear gloss badges
Anything else I should look at?

Steeda subframe centrering kit (maybe not entirely needed with above) but I fitted both...
Oil separator... loads on the market but I fitted the genuine Ford racing version...

It's on the cards. Even in the dry it was very light throttle only and back was very twitchy.
Yep, i'm on the stock P zeros and the first couple of miles of any journey is always a bit twitchy this time of year, finding the snow/wet driving mode helps a little as it seems to smooth the power delivery a bit. hopefully the new PS4's will be out in stock sizes soon.Gassing Station | Mustangs | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
