Anyone fitted a Borla S Type exhaust
Discussion
Good morning
Driving myself bonkers trying to pick an exhaust system for my GT when it arrives. After watching lots of videos, I am leaning towards the cat back S type Borla ( not the ford Motorsport one).
Looking for a classic muscle car rumble, not too raspy and without interior droning . Looks like the above fits the bill.
Would be interested in anyone's feedback.
Thanks
Mark

Indeed I have.
No drone whatsoever which is the usual question asked about any aftermarket exhaust.
ETA just read your post properly. I've got the Ford Racing one so ever so slightly different.
To me, Borla's own one sounded slightly raspier than the Ford one.

Interesting, I was led to believe it' was the other way around.
Does it make a noticeable improvement to performance as well as sound. I am also looking at a performance air filter .

One man's rasp is another's perfect tone.Does it make a noticeable improvement to performance as well as sound. I am also looking at a performance air filter .

No improvement whatsoever. You'll need the manifolds for that and you should see +30bhp, more if you get a tune at the same time.

Brilliant, where is it.
DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND THE VENUE HAS NOW CHANGED.As we are approaching 40-50 Mustangs turning up for this event, plus potential Mustang buyers in Non-Mustangs, we've had to change the venue.
It's still at Buddies, It's still in Northampton, it's just now at the Sixfields restaurant due to the far larger car park.
Address is now:
Buddies USA
UPTON WAY,
SIXFIELDS,
NORTHAMPTON,
NN5 4EG
I have updated the meeting invite for those curious.
Thanks,
Coppied straight from Facebook, most arriving around 1030-1100
