transmission / driveshaft noise

Anyone noticed any noise from the transmission / driveshaft on their new Stang ?

Im getting a bit of whine in the cabin ( without the Mrs ).
Used to get a similar noise on my TVR but not on other rear wheel drive cars ive had. Wondered if it was a characteristic or are the others quiet? Its most noticeable in second gear.

Having just taken one down to Le Mans Classic and back I can confidently say the manual transmission is certainly not silent. Quite a bit of gear rattle at low revs and high load and a level of whine too.

With Roush axle backs on it really doesn't detract from the experience though....

My rattle has been diagnosed as lose baffle plates in the exhaust -currently on back order. I originally thought the noise was coming from drivetrain/transmission!
