Daytime running lights on the new mustang

Does anyone know if its possible to replace the daytime dummy lights on the new mustang for the real ones?

Hi, I did see one review that said they had to be dummy ones due to legal reasons. Something to do with the angle that they can be seen. I did sound like health and safety gone barmy to me but maybe legislation will change now we're coming out of the E.U

That could be the reason why the US style sharks teeth daylight running lights are not used in Europe and it is also possible that the restriction only applies to certain Euro countries and not necessarily to UK although who knows?
