Spotify App on S550?

Picked up my magnetic with stripes yesterday, love it!

But I have no idea how to get the Spotify App working on the Sync 2 head unit. I don't mean normal Bluetooth streaming but the app and playlists being browsable via the head unit.

I've tried my Android plugged in via USB and Bluetooth, I say "mobile applications" via the voice recognition but nowt happens. Anyone else had any joy?

that is correct, I thinik. Applink on 3 allows it, 2 doesnt.

2 is terrible, widely slated. 3 is much better!

I'm not sure if you have got this far but using Spotify on an Android phone and connected over Bluetooth to the Sync 2 then the current track and artist is displayed on the Sync 2 screen and you can skip tracks forward and back using the console controls and the steering wheel controls and even voice control.
