Excessive Tyre Wear?

I have a 2.3 2016 Mustang - registered 1st March and I bought it 2nd hand after three weeks and 1,700 miles. It has now done 6,500 miles and the back tyres have pretty well no tread left and I'm getting replacements as I write this. I've not ragged it and AFIK the tyres were OK when I bought it, but maybe the 1st owner did. I've had a TVR and two M3s over the years and none of them had excessive tyre wear. So - is this very unusual or do Mustangs go through tyres quickly?

Have 5500 mile on mine (also a 2.3) and the rear tyres look barely worn .... some might say i'm not driving it right haha.

Its probably a blessing that the PZeros didn't last though, they're not the best tyre in the world.
