I have a 2016 gt, had it 3 months and use it mainly weekends, came to it yesterday and battery was totally flat, had to open manually, it wouldn't even jump start, so had to call AA, he couldn't start it with booster pack, so he disconnected the battery for a while, and re booted itself so he then jump started it and let it run for 10 mins, he then turned it off and put an amp meter on and said it was loosing half an amp, and would flatten the battery fast, he advised me to take it back to ford. Came to it this morning and was fine, as it has been all the time apart from yesterday, just wondered if you guys had heard if this has happened before, cheers.

I know it's not the same car but have a similar problem with my M3, the dealership tell me that I don't do enough miles for the car to recharge its own battery and so I have to do an overnight charge every 2 weeks. Maybe the Mustangs suffer from a similar problem - I'll find out when my GT finally arrives!!

Doubt it
My one was in a container for 3 weeks, fired up straight away, good job really, as they would never have got it out of the container otherwise, mind you I will be having fitted a hardwired dash-cam, which could be interesting :-(

Normally a dash-cam will be coming on with the ignition, therefore should not be a problem.

Nope this has a Security feature, comes on with motion , so if a car parks next to mine or

Parking Surveillance Mode

The F750 supports a parking surveillance mode that monitors your vehicle when the ignition is off. A combination of motion detection and impact monitoring is used to protect your car from hit-and-run incidents

Sounds interesting, we use Roadhawk DC2s in the Jeeps and a Roadhawk RH2 in the Camaro.

Just a thought I have heard of other makes that if you leave a CD in the player that it can keep spinning may be worth a thought.

The 05-09 models have a battery drain problem when the shaker stereo is not turned off before the car is swithced off, something to do with the amp staying powered on
