Just sold my 2015 Vert and paid off Ford Finance. Ready to finance my new Coupe. On the Vert priced at 41k I put 6k deposit on as requested by Ford and got the PCP finance. Im now told that my Coupe priced at June 2015 price of 37k requires a 10k deposit. I wanted to put down 4k as per the finance calculator. I have squeaky clean credit rating and a home owner and I earn > 60k........anybody had similar problems or can anyone recommend an alternative PCP supplier.

That's a ridiculous deposit to put into a PCP package on that value of car.

Why is the dealer telling you you've got to put that amount down?

Just a possibility, but, maybe this is a way of putting off a potential buyer of multiple cars who may be selling on for profit?

Thanks for the replays. I ordered my Coupe in June but decided to get the very in Dec as it was a cancellation, true i didn't loose much when selling but I'm not in it to make a profit thats for sure. Has anybody else had issues with Ford credit ?
