Mustang Lead Times
Discussion
Long, unless they sort out production probably 8months plus and that is if you are lucky. Couple that with lack of information and missed delivery promises doesn't add up to a great buying experience. I think the car is worth it but either look at one that is already in country or set yourself a very low expectation on delivery.
I was on for one .. spoke to dealer early 2015 after UK pricing announcement but ultimately couldn't decide on colour / spec unseen .. so told him I would wait to check out some of the early arrivals in person .. take a demo out etc. .. which he understood .. long story short dealer has done nothing to keep me informed .. at all .. they have only very recently got a demo car .. like way over a year after UK pricing announcement .. offered to get me booked in for a test drive .. and then added that it's still 10 months wait if I want one !! .. I'm having a new toy for the summer .. so it isn't going to be a Mustang !! ..

Quite a few in the dealers if your not too fussy ? this said from a guy setting the waiting time world record of 13 months and its still in the USA!
Mine was just shy of 12 months from ordering to delivery but you still waiting is pretty unbelievable. Have Ford given you any idea what the hold up is?

Car is just built now and on the docks - I feel they have prioritised other cars before mine (convertibles)
Neck and neck just about. 24/01/2015 - not shipped yet but getting close I think. EDD end of April I think which'll be 15 months. Think I have the worst lead time which started after the order books officially opened in Jan 2015.But hey, look on the bright side - the weather's crap and there's stuff to iron out on the car anyway.
