Another Mustang on the Road
Discussion
Hi All,
Got my mustang this week after a lengthy wait, really pleased with it in every respect.
Really grunty but smooth V8, handles and rides nicely. They also look 10x better in the flesh than in pictures. Creases down the bonnet look great from the drivers seat, reminds me a lot of the Griff 500 I had back in the day.
Remarkable value, at £36k its 10% less than I paid for my Griffith new in 1999. But packed with tech, sat nav, brembo brakes, traction control, abs and every day usable. Its similar to the Monaro's I had previously (early 5.7, 5.7VXR then 6L VXR) however it feels so much sharper from a steering and handling perspective, to the best of my memory the Coyote likes to rev more than the Ls3.
It came from Guildford Ford, would give them 10/10 for Service received, they sorted me a boot mat with discount and a big bag of Mustang goodies to go with the car which were unexpected and a really nice touch. Turned the car around quickly from receipt, did the wiring mod, even opened up 45 minutes before normal opening time to enable me to collect my car during a busy work week.
My tip for anybody with cars on order that have the black wheels is to take the black roof option, I wasn't entirely sure about the option but it does wonders for the shape!

Also a previous Monaro owner like myself then ventured to the other side... i loved my Ro of nearly 6 years but the GT Stang is far superior in every way! Glad i made the choice Got my mustang this week after a lengthy wait, really pleased with it in every respect.
