Anyone used Linelock yet on their S550? No I haven't read the manual, off to do that now, but tried to do it a minute ago with no luck. Put her in race mode, clicked Linelock in the computer, held brakes firmly, hit ok for x seconds to initialise but then when I dropped the clutch, it said "linelock not available, check manual". I'm off to do that now, but I'm disappointed in myself that I have to resort to such things rather than posting on a forum smile

In lieu of Linelock, I used Launch Control. Really dumb question I know, but never having had this function before, what does it actually do? Set it for 3000 rpm, wheels still seemed to lose traction a little with some heavy right foot and clutch dumping. Any advice / insight?

Lots of fun today!

I had a go at the Linelock when I attended the Performance Day at Silverstone a couple of weeks ago. It took me 4 attempts to do it and I didn't think I got away that fast when I did manage it. Doing this is counter intuitive (not wanting to break anything) and that certainly didn't help.

Glad it wasn't my car; loads of tyre smoke that made the car stink!

I certainly wouldn't be doing this in my own car, unless I'm about to change the tyres.
