Mustangs in Manchester area
Discussion
Hi, There's a yellow convertible in the showroom at OMC ford in Oldham, went to see it there yesterday and looks stunning! I'm in the same position as you, ordered ruby red with black wheels last week but really want to see one in the metal. Does anyone know where there is one near to Accrington?
Hi Gary
I went to Evans Halshaw at old Trafford. They have a ruby convertible in the showroom that looks stunning under the lights, but a dusty ruby 2.3 out back under cloudy Manchester weather that looks dull. So dull that it persuaded me to change my colour to race red while I still had chance. I suspect ruby makes a great press car colour where the lighting conditions can be controlled, but a less appealing British winter colour option on a car like the mustang. Still got a nagging feeling yellow would be perfect over here.

I agree 're: Ruby. Beautiful colour in the right conditions. I went Race Red for the same reason. That and it's a classic Mustang look.I went to Evans Halshaw at old Trafford. Thanks for the offer Kaelic.. I went to ford Oldham today to check out their yellow vert in the metal and they also had a race red demonstrater outside. I got to say the yellow really pops! On the vert it would be my colour choice in a heartbeat. However I'm after something with a metal roof and I'm not convinced it would work on the larger surface area of the coupe quite as well. Think I'm going to stop now and stick with my race red order
Looks great in yellow doesn't it, would be my choice but can't have two yellow cars on the drive. I went to look at the ruby red one at old Trafford also and know what your saying about the lighting conditions but under those lights it looks good enough to lick, we may not get much sun but will be worth it for the little time we do I hope. Gonna stick with my order as is thanks for the help

The sales man at omc said they have a cancelled order for a yellow with black roof, GT manual with black wheels and all options ticked, landing in May.May be of interest to anyone looking to jump the queue and set on that colour combo
