New Mustang in South West?

Hi Everyone
It's great to see the new Mustangs finally arriving in the UK. Unfortunately mine is still a long long way away as did not order until beginning of September 2015- I was foolishly waiting to actually see / drive one before putting down a deposit but eventually couldn't wait any longer so put a deposit down anyway! Been to Goodwood FoS last two years but Ford wouldn't let me anywhere near the cars. Estimated arrival of mine is June 2016 but would love to see one now -I have called my dealer Vospers in Exeter & they are not expecting any cars until Christmas. Anyone know of somewhere else I can see one? I am going up to see my in laws in Surrey next weekend so could also look at one up that way if a dealer has one. Looking forward to seeing lots of pictures of new happy Mustang owners!

Hope you have better experience with Vospers than me. Whilst nice enough chaps information has been woeful largely due to ford uk but there's been very little effort to be proactive with communications with me

I was the first to place a deposit in January after price list released but same experience as almost everyone else on the forum!!

My previous experience of Vospers when I had a Mondeo was bad enough that I started using another Ford dealer. Unfortunately they are the Mustang dealer for the South West so sadly had no choice than place order with them. I have a Mazda & they are good at that dealership so maybe it's just Ford. I did send an email to the salesman in Octobet asking for an update but did not get a reply. Having worked in the motor trade previously, I do know that there can be a lot of staff changes so may be he has moved on & someone else may now have order. Hopefully you will get your car soon if you ordered in January!

Just looked on Facebook tonight & my local dealer Vospers in Exeter now has a 5.0 GT Convertible in the showroom. As a customer who has one on order, I wonder how long it would have been before they would have told me?

WTF?!?!?! Seriously?! Seems like we're in the same boat. I should stop being surprised but equally i'm the same they'd told me they'd let me know when they had one in!!

I did get a phone call this morning to let me know that they had a car in the showroom. I was surprised but going down in the morning to have a look. 😀

I ordered on 19 Feb hoping for an Autumn delivery. Both Vospers and Karen Batt have given friendly replies after my initial contacts of course, but lack any real information. My window sticker build date was 29 October 2015 but there's still no date on FordEtis for my VIN number so I guess the car is not built yet. The latest prediction is for delivery in Feb 2016.........maybe.
