If the Mustang wasn't coming to the UK, what would you have spent your £35k on instead??

For me, it would probably have been a few years old XKR, or possibly a Masserati....smile or at a push a V8 Vantage.

Probably either a late model Bentley Arnage with the 6.75 litre motor (rather than the BMW) or a wide-body Continental R ....... and a Radical SR8 for the track. Come to think of it, what AM I getting the Mustang for?! biggrin

Nothing.

I had/have no need for a "toy" car so wasn't even looking, but I've wanted a V8 for ages and this car ticks all the other boxes I didn't know needed ticking.

Most likely would have gone back to the dark side of the Holden.. Whatever, it would have had a proper V8 engine and not some w@nky devils fuel like my current ML!!!

This is a question I've been asking myself a lot recently - I took out part finance months ago to secure a good rate so literally have 35k sat there waiting for the 'tang.

Jag is a good call but just not exciting enough in the looks department (unless I double my budget somehow and get an F-type).

e92 M3 got me thinking, great car and the v8...but just nowhere near as good looking as the mustang.

TVRs? Nope, I want a daily.

Lotus Europa? Not caveman enough for me.

So still hanging in there...

35k on a V8 Vantage? You might be surprised at how often you had to push it.
