Ok so I know a lot of us are guessing at what final spec we will end up with.

I have taken a screen from the Ford UK Dealer Training pack which I have sent to most of you - if anyone else requires it PM me.

Below are some of the no's

Rear Spolier
Bonnet Air Vents
LED lights in headlamps deactivated (This worries me as I want the 3 stripe LED's)
Clears in lieu of red sequential's
Recaro Seats (My main disappointment)
Blind Spot indicator
Adaptive Cruise Control

This is a fairly large list already without talking about diff's, leather upgrades etc list goes on.

Below are some of the yes's

19"s
Chassis tuning
Larger radiator
3.55:1gear with diff etc
6 piston Brembo's (V8)
Extra dash dials (This is not mentioned)

Which are all part of the PP pack anyway as are some of the above.

This could all change before Q4/Q5 anyway!

I'm also very interested to hear about the tri-bar lights.

Although, the below link apparently shows Ford Media images of a confirmed spec EU car with the lights working... of course this isn't UK, but there might be hope yet....

Indeed but would like to know what "LED lights in headlamps deactivated" means?

I thought we weren't getting the extra PP dials on the centre console?

I can "understand" some of them but why aren't we getting BLIS or the adaptive cruise control?

Who knows? Perhaps we can use this thread to list all our questions then the OP that contacted Ford Marketing chap by email can send it to him?

Exactly, maybe a small fix to 're-activate' (he says hopefully!)

Why no BLIS?
Why no adaptive cruise control?
Why no cloth seats?
Why no tri-bar DRL?
Why no Performance Pack gauges?
Are we getting a 2016 car or a 2015 car?

I want the exact same options as the American buyers get, just seems like a half hearted attempt and trying to get Mustang into the UK. I don't mind the stuff that has to be done because of EU regulation, even though every EU manufacturer seem to be able to get around every issue Ford have said in regards to red tail lights and hood vents, I just want my Mustang rather than being limited to what Ford Europe thinks is adequate for the UK buyer.

The UK doesn't even get the same options as the EU, and they vary from country to country.

Well i speced up a V8 identical to my order on the Ford Germany site last night (they get 5 interior options I noticed, including Recaros) and - according to my exchange rate calculations - it comes in at a not insignificant £5,000 less than in the UK, at just under £30k. So i was rather hoping the UK car would be getting all the bells and whistles thrown at it to justify the extra money. Seems like we're not getting the torque sensing diff (part of the PP in the US) which i would prefer to the viscous version, I'll be disappointed if the LED's aren't working - but hopefully it'll be a simple case of re-connecting the wires - and i'll order a strut brace myself if necessary (along with the Borla cat-back system rotate). If I read it correctly we are getting the extra dash gauges though, which is good to hear. I was really hoping the Recaros would be an option though weeping

Euro exchange rate certainly makes the German prices look favourable.

Belgium has a lack of interior choice, just like the UK. Strange.

Good man. Cheers Robbie.

Tri-bar DRL's I can live without, considering one of the gauges is a vacuum gauge I could manage without them too, the Recaros however...not happy about that. Also, our wing mirrors look ridiculous in comparison & I'm not a fan of the clear lenses, although I think they'll look ok on the darker cars (mine being DIB). I did post a link in the other thread to a company that offers a conversion to the yank lights. Hopefully we only get a "GT" rear badge too otherwise that's something else I have to spend money replacing because I hate that circular "gas cap" thing.

ETA: might have to look at *GASP* cutting the bonnet and fitting some Roush vents myself! Not sure I have the balls to do that to my first-ever brand new car! yikes

It would have been nice to get stuff like Blind Spot, Adaptive Cruise, memory seats or Recaros (not to mention the missing 20bhp smile ) on the options list .... it's not like these things don't already exist in the parts bin. When the Focus RS goes to the States, do you think they'll be paying a $10k premium for a lower spec car? ..... no, me neither smile
That said, now the UK spec seems to be officially firmed up I'm really looking forward next Jan/Feb. Can't come soon enough!

The 20bhp loss isn't a loss, they just have to advertise it as the horsepower the engine generates with unleaded rather than super unleaded, advertising laws in America are more lax.

Anyone want to take a guess as to WHY we can't have the Recaro seats?

I can't really understand why so much variation in pricing with regards to colours and whatnot, but to not even OFFER the Recaros as an option has me totally baffled. I can only surmise that it must be something to do with RHD vs LHD. Still seems a bit strange.

Still, until we start getting calls asking to confirm specs I shall remain hopeful, and even then until we start getting confirmations that the first RHD cars have actually been built I shall continue to hope Ford will change their minds.

Although Croyde I think it was, did say the standard seats were very good anyway so the Recaros were no great loss. I just think they look sooo much better.

Good question as some EU countries are getting them, why don't you email Dan Jones of Ford Europe? (his email address is in the pdf linked to below which shows the EU spec which include Recaros!)

You may have seen, at this Ford Media link http://mustang.fordmedia.eu/enhanced.htm under the "Documents" section there is a "Technical Specification" section. In there each EU country has it's own sheet showing what their specific cars will be like.

Unfortunately it lacks an UK equivalent version - that will confirm once and for all what's in/out.

Yeah it'll be a strange RHD thing - my guess is they might have side airbags in the US Recaro's, the ignition of which will have been setup for LHD, and for whatever reason it might not be as simple as swapping them over.

Assume the other RHD markets don't have them as an option too?
