Just wondering what people are planning to add onto their S550 once they have taken delivery of it and where is the best place in the UK to source these upgrades?

I was thinking about an exhaust upgrade to add a bit more noise but not sure where to go

Been looking into this myself, I think there will be a growing market for Mustang parts/upgrades in the UK.

I'm sure setting up a business to do this would be a good investment.

The only main things I'm looking at are:

Eibach Suspension Kit Sport-Plus 2015
http://www.cjponyparts.com/eibach-suspension-kit-s...

Ford Racing By Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System 2-1/2" Touring Stainless Steel With 4" Chrome Tips GT 2015
http://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-racing-by-borla-ca...

Roush Rear Spoiler Unpainted 2015
http://www.cjponyparts.com/roush-rear-spoiler-unpa...

Roush Heat Extractor Hood Insert Unpainted Pair GT 2015
http://www.cjponyparts.com/roush-heat-extractor-ho...

$2,504.96 + $350 odd for shipping = £1893.38 thats if these parts work on a RHD?

I'm not aware of any UK companies but hopefully someone will.

Should also mention that there will import duty to pay on the above.

Thanks for that link Matt - all under one roof and another reason I'm going for a Mustang - so many A/M performance options! biggrin

I strongly suspect that any mods will render your UK warranty void. Not that thr cars are fragile (well, S197s at least) but one of the downsides of having an official UK model I guess.

It's a bloody good job your one is black 'cos our cars are gonna look VERY similar since I'm going for all of that (black tips on the exhaust though)! wink

Going for this spoiler though and probably those wheels too, on my DIB one:

I've been through almost all the aftermarket exhaust clips on YouTube including Magnaflow, Roush, ARH etc and that one is by far and away the best one.

But you lot have to get something else 'cos I heard it first! tongue out

You are quite welcome - unsure if they ship OUS though. I've bought a lot of gear* from them and their service, quality and after-sales support is impeccable.
I recommend them without hesitation.
  • Throttle body, Airaid CAI, Bama Flash, Boss 302 brace, Hotchkiss poly rear bushings, Raxiom headlight conversion, Ford Racing brake upgrade.

True, but once there's a RHD Mustang I have no doubt the After-Market for RHD will be quickly established. I just don't know how long I'll be able to keep mine standard before the temptation to invalidate my warranty becomes too strong!! biggrin

American Muscle have a good YouTube channel too - the first clip I saw was the install of a cold-air intake, exhaust and Re-Map, which apparently produced an additional ~ 30-40 bhp. Not bad at all!!

Obviously I wouldn't want to break any rules about advertising on this fine forum but we do plan on adding S550 V8 upgrades to what we already do with Ford GT. We're Whipple dealers so will be adding the front feed system to our car as soon as we get it. The European cars will have different calibration files so some of the US upgrade offerings won't be simple plug and play installations. We're looking forward to developing some carefully chosen modifications...

Be interesting to know more, I had planned on JLT intake, ARH headers and ford racing catback with a livernoise tune as should be good for 60 or so wheel horsepower.

If your prices are fair be interested in your offerings.

I'm thinking suspension wise steeds springs and roll bars, very low cost and easy to fit myself.

If I change the exhaust on mine, I'm going to go for the touring system rather than the sport..smile

Sport sounds great, but I think it'll get on my nerves on a long trip...

I think I'm going to make mine just like this. Same wheels, same touring exhaust.
