Top Gear Mach 1

Anyone seen a thread on a forum discussing where the Mustang on Top Gear was sourced from? I.e. How much was paid, car history etc?

I had a quick google but was hoping for some in-depth info.

Just out of interest really - my first performance car at age 18 was a blue Mach 1

I found the ad from Phoenix but was hoping there was some pre-import info

Cheers, I saw the post from GT500 Clone but wondered if there was any more info from the old US owner anywhere?

I've tried a a few search permutations but if there's any links that would be great?

There's a chap in Chertsey selling older American muscle cars. That's where the TG Mach 1 was purchased.

I gather this chap buys must of his stock from a member on the MOCGB forum; the latter imports them.

As said above, look on the MOCGB forum for the details.

As regards the TG car, that was an M-Code 351 with a 4-speed manual. Not many of those about, especially in the UK.
