Just my personal opinion, but I'd be putting 24k on something a little more special.
You might even catch a Gt500 at that money.
Bullitt is just a few minor cosmetic mods over a standard GT.
Standard problem with these Mustangs is paint bubbling on the front lip of the bonnet.
There's a 2011GT with the new 5.0 coyote engine for just a little bit more in the classifieds.
I'm sure there'd be a bit of bargaining room.

Thanks for that, it's things like that I'd never have known. In the late 70s I had a lot of muscle cars and none since. I've just come back from a holiday in California where I hired a 5ltr GT Mustang and have fallen in love all over again. Not even sure if I want auto or manual.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Check out www.s197.co.uk for info on this shape stang, there are few for sale on there too. £24K can get you a lot more stang than a Bullit, as said above just a standard car really.
All the Bullitt Mustang upgrade are availible aftermarket parts, so you could make a clone for less money all be it not green. There's lots of S197 Mustang's in the UK prices are hovering around £13k to £16k sale price not advert price.
I'd be tempted to look at the 5ltr as per above post rather than the S197 Bullitt. See a few forsale now but they all take a long time to sell.

That is a very nice one, but 23.5k, that is a lot. I'm sure they were about 28-30 new over here, in 2008. I reckon the high teens is a more realistic price, but due to the rarity of very good ones the vendor may well be holding out at this price. There's one comes to our AACNW meet in Manchester, they do look very cool.

Well I bought it, slightly less than the advertised price, just looking for Insurance now, unfortunately all my no claims bonus is used up on VW Camper van.
Well done on getting your new car. I thought it looked quite expensive, but sometimes you just got to pay for THE car. Bill Shepherd are one of the leading Mustang sellers in the UK, so I'm sure you'll get good after sales service if needed. In my recent experience, the most competitive Insurance companies to try are A-Plan and Adrian Flux. Go for a limited mileage policy, and you shouldn't have to pay silly amounts.

Same here re insurance. Had my Viper thru A-Plan, and the Mustangs through Adrian Flux.In my recent experience, the most competitive Insurance companies to try are A-Plan and Adrian Flux. Go for a limited mileage policy, and you shouldn't have to pay silly amounts.
