Just took delivery of a spankers 2013, 5.0 Convertible Cali Special, to be picked up next week.
I had never driven a Mustang, let alone a 5.0, let alone a soft top....
I can honestly say I "get them' now......what a bloody engine!!!!
Very jealous... but will be joining the Stangers next year.....I had never driven a Mustang, let alone a 5.0, let alone a soft top....

I must ask....How can you have just taken delivery when you are picking up next week?

I understand...sorry I was being pedantic. Saying just taken delivery implies you have it with you already. Sorry....I'll get my coat.
no need for coat collection, it is a bit like having to stare at your Christmas present under the tree for 2 weeks before you get to open it on Christmas morning. I would rather not be told it arrived and just get the call when its ready for me to take the keys and bring it home. when I collected mine back in February I just stood and drooled over it for a good 15 minutes before actually putting the key in the ignition. the ride home was like the first attempt at taming a wild horse, you are both learning each others temperament, and it takes time to adjust to one another. most valuable piece of advice I can give is respect the car.
