Classic gold coupe in trouble on the M6?

Hi, just a message to guys in the gold "E" reg coupe southbound on the M6 today, which dived for the hard shoulder in a cloud of smoke or steam, just by Penrith, I think - it looks a lovely car, hope all's well! Sorry we couldn't stop but with the kids & the traffic, didn't think we'd be any use to you, & the next junction turned out to be quite a way down.
