3.7 V6 Engine rattle

I thought I'd ask the question here - as there are not many new Morgan Roadsters with this engine yet (it's a new model)....

I have one of these engines with 1,100 miles on the clock. From new it's had a loud engine rattle from (it seems) the top front of the engine. It starts at 2,750rpm and continues 4,000rpm.

As this is the same lump as the Mustang, I wonder if any owner has experienced this?

It's the Ford Duratec 37, manual transmission.

Unfortunately you probably won't get much luck here either what with this being a predominantly UK forum and nice one buys a V6 Mustang over here.

As they're US based forums there would be someone there who might have knowledge of it if it's a known problem.

Ah, OK, thanks for that.... I assumed the 3.7 was in all Mustangs. Ooops!

The 3.7 v6 was introduced on the 2011MY Mustang, so pretty rare over here. Previously, the Mustang used the 4 litre (210bhp) that was a relative of the old "Cologne" V6.
