Crap Headlights
Discussion
Something I've been disappointed with since I bought my 2012 GT are the frankly abysmal factory headlights. Both dip and main are pathetic, so I sourced a bi-xenon upgrade from this lot...

I wanted to preserve the factory look of the headlights from the exterior (aftermarket 'projector' and 'halo' units make the car look cross-eyed) and the supplied kit has really transformed it, without messing around with the way it looks - a point to remember however. If you decide to go this route, you need to also install an in-line condenser (on both sides) to cancel the headlamp malfunction warning, which is otherwise triggered by the slight flickering of the lights when they are energised.

New MOT requirements from Jan this year (IIRC). Any car with Bi-Xenon HID discharge lamps is required to have self-levelling and headlamp wash (all cars fitted with Xenon as standard have this). Most kits do not provide this. It is an attempt to prevent glare and dazzle for oncoming drivers.
