oil for mustang gt 4.6 1995

hello gents ! could you please anyone tell me what oil exactly i should use to mustang gt 4.6 - the date of make is 12/95 - it is on 'n' registration ? many thanks tom

5W20 semi-synth. It should tell you on the oil filler cap...

Haynes says a 5w-30 for temps -29c to +38c.
Or a 10w-30 for temps -18c to +38c.
API grade SG or SG/CC.

I stick Mobil1 fully synth 5w-50 in mine.

Use a 5w-30. The 5w-20 is for economy purposes not longevity. The 5w-50w is recommended for the GT500.
To be honest, in our mild climate, it probably makes very little difference.

I'd use a synthetic. Oil filter is the same as a Mondeo V6.

Just done my '02, used Comma Syner Z 5/30 fully synthetic, didn't change the filter this time though, only done 2000 since last June.
