Is this any good?
Discussion
Hi guys, I'm looking at getting a 60's Mustang in the next few months, either coupe or fastback, can't decide which I prefer but understand the coupes are a fair bit less. I don't want to pay the earth for it so am looking at getting something which can be a bit of a month to month projest but don't want a non runner to begin with.
Is this a good buy?

Thanks in advance,

Difficult to say. I believe they rust behind the scuttle. A good paint job will be at least £3000. I would imagine only a thorough inspection would answer your question although an MOT is some consolation as they tend to be fairly tough these days.
Restoring cars can work out expensive. the dollar is strong and parts are expensive to ship unless you do it in one of the regular containers and you're happy to wait.
The Coupes are going up in price as the fastbacks soar in value but I think many buyers would still save for the Fastback.
