Been offered an Insignia EXCLUSIVE Ecoflex or a top of the range Astra as company car.
Never driven an insignia before but assume there similar to a Vectra. Whats the best choice?

opinions please.

Insignia is absolutely nothing like a Vectra. Having said that, I've recently had a CDTi in SRi as a hire car, and whilst the engine was fine, the non-NAV display is appalling. And the 1.8 petrol engine is a waste of time.

Check out my garage had both.

Simple choice for me, Astra 1.7 diesel is only 13% BIK go for the 125bhp and it will be fine. Mine is a 110 and it's ok but my next one will be the 125. Insignia diesel is 18/19/20% BIK depending on bodystyle and bhp

Had Three Insignia's and loved them all, Exlusiv spec has enough toys too and rides much nicer than sports verions.

I have also had both - currently in an Astra Tourer. I much prefer the Insignia, it is a higher quality feel to the cabin and has that big car drive feel to it. The last Astra I had was a 160hp diesel which was good fun and went really well.

On motorway driving my 160 diesel Insignia was slightly better than my current 125hp diesel Astra. probably down to the gearing.

If you don't mind paying the tax go for the Insignia.
