Zafira - what should i look out for

Out of necessity, 7 seats are needed and the Zafira ticks the boxes.
Theres a few on autotrader that look ok (budget of £3.5k, probably a 1.6 petrol) and plan to see some at the weekend.
Is there anything specific i should be looking out for?
Avoid the 1600cc like the plague, its troublesome the 1800cc is a differant engine & much better make sure cambelt & water pump been done within 40k if not get it done as soon as you get it.Theres a few on autotrader that look ok (budget of £3.5k, probably a 1.6 petrol) and plan to see some at the weekend.

Apart from that just make sure everything is working & there are no lights on the dash no sign of head gasket failure etc also check the coil springs are all intact & not heavily corroded although this is a cheap fix & if it has Abs the light functions (ie not been removed) they are not a bad car but are prone to being abused by familes who have little spare cash to spend on a car so that is their biggest problem.
Ps Dont but an auto!!!!
Avoid the 1.6 - it's a crappy engine, and seriously under-powered in a Zafira. They tend to burn oil by about 60k as well.
Go for a 1.8 or 2.0DTI - the 1.8 is revvy with not much low end torque. The 2.0DTI is a very torquy engine, but runs out of puff at high revs. Better gearbox on the 2.0DTI too (F23), with full synchromesh, including reverse - great for high speed parallel parking.
