Hi.
I'm in the middle of changing a mates ruined 1.4, 01 astra engine. Problem is that the old engine is fly by wire and the new is cable throttle.
Can i get away with changing the inlet manifold, and throttle body and top loom or will the enitre engine loom need changing?
Thanks in advance.

If the engine is the same I dont see why not, as long as there is the same sensors elsewhere.

if the engine blocks are exactly the sme then just change the inlet and parts that stay with the astra your working on.

Also I'd put all the sensors off the enging your taking out onto the new engine, that ay you know they were working before and that they will be fine when you refit new engine.
