hiya all ,
new to this forum
got my lad a corsa 1.2,sxi 2003 july reg
dont know these cars at all , is there any thing to do at this milage
it goes well and all seems well,
milage is confirmed with full lookers [speke] service history,
is it a chain or belt [cam]
i was surprised at the pickup in 2nd and 3rd wen pushed
my son tells me they are cheap to insure for first drivers,

these corsa's are brilliant cars for the younger driver

i can confirm that it has a cambelt

these corsas are quite nippy and can surprise a lot of bigger engined cars round the track. i took my old one to nurburgring and did fantastically

1.2 are CAM CHAINS!! not belts, the belts are only 1.4 and 1.8s

I know because its what i have..

agreed tho, brilliant cars both first timers and on a whole

suprisingly nippy (short ratio gear box) and 73bhp (non twimport) and 80 ish bhp (twinport model)

on a 53 plate its going to be a non twinport, and tbh honest, for the extra power a twinport has, its hardly noticeable

as white wolf says the 1.2s are cam chain ...

i have a pre-twinport one and if you give it some welly through the gears it's adequately rapid for overtaking on single carriageways ..

for a small engine at around 75 to 80bhp I gotta say again these are very nippy cars
