VX220 - Front Number Plate Size

Obviously you cant have a standard plate on the front of a VX220, So what is the best size without getting a pull from the BiB every time I go for a blat? Is 13 x 4 too small. Your sizes & pics please.

I went for a 390mm x 40mm 3/4 plate from www.craftyplates.com. I've never been stopped for it.

Sorry, 390mm by 84mm! I think I had the number 40 on the mind for some reason.
