Morano verses Corvette questions

Hello there, looking to buy a different toy again early next year, so doing a bit of research.
I was toying with the idea of a Corvette C5, but as the same engine fitted to the super coupe from Austrailia I was wondering how they compare?

The only thing putting me off Vette is left hand drive, but its mpg to Le Mans recently was 30mpg plus! so you may see where I am comming from here?

Also is there an auto version of the Aussie brute as wrist smashed up in bike accident and not sure heavy gear change will suit?
