vectra c 2.2 auto

Mine has blown up and i have car worth 600 scrap which i had for sale at 2450 with potential buyers waiting.Can any guys on here suggest a way of rebuilding this box at home or are they mega difficult to work on i just cannot justify and cant afford to pay the 2500ish price everyone wants to charge for rebuilt unit.Are the internal parts that expensive??

Any auto guys on here have any suggestions on getting my vectra off the scrap pile or have good secondhand unit out of crashed car anywhere cheers

not really much help. but my box was about 2 grand rebuilt, with a new rad and oil cooler with the modified seals (which is why it died in the 1st place)
