Astra 1.9 cdti 150 sri transmission fluid leak

Change the breaks and noticed there was red transmission fluid leaking from the centre of what appears to be the drive shaft. Car appears to drive fine. Its not a major leak just the odd drop. Is this common? I will get it booked in to get looked at and hopefully it will be coverd by warranty direct as its out of manufacturer warranty.

It's not common. It shouldn't be happening. It's likely the driveshaft oil seal going.

More than likely a weeping diff oil seal. Easy and cheap enough fix.

It is a dodgy oil seal, will be sorted next week! Cheers
