Astra SRI performance mods

I've got an Astra 1.8 SRI, it's fast(ish) but I want to get more power out of it. What would be the best I could do on a budget of about £500?

IMO you wont get any real noticable gain for your 500 quid.
An air filter and exhaust might make it sound better.

I'd be spending my 500 quid making it handle and stop better - which you will notice

For £500 on a 1.8, the most noticable mod would be Cams.

as said previously you'd probably be better spending the money on coilovers and 45 profile tyres.

its made my 1.8 feel loads better

Chop it in for a 150 cdti and map it!
