I have a VX220 turbo with standard Meta alarm immobiliser.
Having just bought the car it came with 2 alarm fobs, both with no batteries in....
Having not been advised the alarm was faulty I replaced the batteries and tried the alarm!

BIG mistake, now the alarm just continues to go off or the indicators stay on permanantly. I have tried disconnecting the battery and leaving it for hours but still the alarm arms when reconnected and continues to sound.
The 2 fobs dont seem to obviously do anything, clearly there is a fault but I dont know how to go about fixing it.

Has anyone had a similar problem or more importantly can anyone please please give me some advise or help as to how to resolve this?
I would be happy to tear the bloody thing out and get a retro fitted alarm put in, but even this requires the car to work properly in the first instance!
HELP please.....

The car is garage bound until it is fixed!

Cheers
Jason
