Corsa won't go in gear!

Hi guys,

I was driving down the motorway last night when I hit traffic and then was brought to 0 mph. However, when traffic started moving again, the car would not go in gear. I had the clutch down (Obviously) but it just would not go in gear. It was like I did not have the clutch down!

Then it banged into gear and I was off. Happened once more at the lights before I arrived home.

It is a 53 plate Corsa 1.2 Design.

Any point would be great.

Clutch cable snagging?

Linkage assembly on top of the gearbox. Part number 55556356. £102 + VAT from your local Vauxhall dealer. They do a repair kit if you fancy keeping the costs down and don't mind some extra labour.

I had a linkage problem but it was a pin somewhere on top of the gearbox that breaks, it took longer to take the fuel filter housing off to gain access than to replace the pin. If it isn't this then it could be the clutch cable.

Can now be found aftermarket from certain M factors for around £50-60, and i think it's genuine OE part.
